Like liberated nuts
About the real topic,
And wishing heads up butts,
Complaining that the Brit
Who just pulled up her skirts and fled
Was myopic and benighted
When she planned and named her thread.
To qualify a forum
About poetry I thought
Would post a couple poems.
This one certainly does not.
The topic of this forum
Was that poems should be fun.
That topic drawn and quartered
Now lies rotting in the sun.
The men and women battle
(All advanced in years I wis)
What the topic ought to be,
To hell with what it is.
