Common Sense
The mean live good and die old,
The gentle before their time.
Religions follow their fancies
And make what they wish a crime.
It isn't difficult.
Look and you will know.
The pariah trusts his fate
Outside the status quo.
And if by archeologists
Their bodies are exhumed,
The good and bad are equally
Deceased. Good men are doomed.

An evening tide
So peaceful, calm and even -
Faces looking up
Along the shore -
Like stars and angels
Fallen out of heaven -
